Q: Can you share the story behind one particularly special antique or one-of-a-kind item in your collection?
"We were able to find an old door from an Atlanta area farmhouse that was dated around the mid-1800s. We sanded off all the rough spots and sealed the surfaces, leaving five layers of paint exposed. Then we purchased a piece of glass to fit the door size and made the door into a farmhouse table. It was quite unique. Please see the photographs attached."
Q: What do you think makes Vendors on Victory unique as a market?
"I believe that the most unique feature of Vendors on Victory is the people who work there. Our owners, Dave and Claudia, are very friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to customer service and the success of their vendors. The other vendors are incredibly gracious and support others in the store. They are also committed to excellence in customer service and strive to maintain beauty and a touch of elegance in their booths. It’s wonderful to be part of such a professional and friendly organization."
Q: What role do community events or partnerships play in showcasing the unique offerings at Vendors on Victory?
"I have always been very supportive of businesses that are philanthropic in their community efforts and am proud to be associated with an organization that promotes outreach assistance to the community. In addition to community support, sponsoring events helps to bring new clients and existing clients together, fostering more business for us all."
Q: What advice would you give to individuals looking to discover hidden gems or unique pieces when exploring Vendors on Victory?
"Shopping at Vendors on Victory is like a treasure hunt. Our vendors bring new items weekly, if not daily. Those items that are quite unique move quickly. My suggestion to our patrons is to visit on a regular basis, at least once a week, and look carefully at each booth for unique items and good buys."
Kathy Karlin invites you to explore her curated collection at Vendors on Victory, where every piece is designed to bring a touch of charm and history to your home.
